Reminisces

For all the things I could have been
For all the love I’ve earned and lost
For all the places I have seen
For all those eyes I miss the most

For all the seas I could have sailed
For all those castles in the sky
For all those times I’ve tried and failed
For when I didn’t hear you cry

For all the stories-sparkling flowers
That we’ve shared, admired and cherished
For all the terraforming powers
That we’ve possessed and grown then perished

A candle’s burning for all these
Until the light of breaking dawn
When shadow slivers will appease
Reflecting echoes, now long gone…

@atg, so say we all! But, then again, it might be: "and for what lies lie beyond" ;) In which case, we're back in familiar ground...
